Bury Me Not on the Lone Prairie is a cowboy ballad from the 1870s, attributed to H. Clemens of South Dakota. The music is a parody based on the song "The Ocean Burial" (1849) by E. Chapin and O.N. Dodge. A good song to reinforce the use of triplets and a “swing” feel. Includes lyrics and solfege syllables.
